But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name (John 20:31).
Without eternal life, man is lost. He’s an eternal spirit that won’t just dematerialize and be forgotten. He goes to hell! The Bible says hell is the place of condemnation, the place of death, “…prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matthew 25:41).
When Adam sinned against God, all men died. In Romans 5:12, the Bible says, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” Sin brought death. That’s how death came to be in everything; it’s in all of nature. It’s the reason everything in the natural world degenerates. It’s the reason things get old and go extinct.
Men live and become weak, grow old and they pass on. It’s all because of the response of nature to the curse of death. Death is the elimination of life, the cessation of the functionality of life. God understood and saw all of these from the dateless past and planned that man should have eternal life; the indestructible life!
Everyone, including all of nature, has been looking forward to eternal life! They needed life, because there was death in everything. Romans 8:20 says, “For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope”; what hope? The hope of eternal life which God that cannot lie, promised before the world began (Titus 1:2)!
Then John brings the good news, which we read in our theme verse. 1 John 5:11 says, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” You have eternal life now, meaning you’re in the ageless zone; you’ve passed from death to life. Whereas death works in the world, life works in you and everything that’s connected to you. Hallelujah!
The Lord has called me with a holy calling, according to His own purpose and grace. He’s abolished death and has brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. Death has been defeated by Jesus, and now I have the all-conquering, unfading life of God in me. Glory to God forever!
1 John 5:11-13
“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
“The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

Confession For Today June 19th, 2020
God’s Word is my light and my life! It is nourishment for my spirit, food for my soul and health for my body! I live by the Word today, and its mighty power is evident in my body as I meditate on and do the Word.
Through the power of the Word and by the working of the Spirit, I walk in God’s perfect will for my life today. There’re no accidents or mishaps on my path, for I walk in preordained pathways of blessings! Goodness and mercy follow me everywhere I go, and I have the supernatural grace to excel in all my endeavors today. I’m an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ; all things are mine. I’m in my place of divine inheritance in Christ, and it’s a large place—a place of wealth— where I lack nothing, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
MY DAILY CONFESSIONS Friday 19/6/2020 #SayThisWithMe JESUS IS LORD OVER MY LIFE.
I’m chosen and sanctified unto God for His divine use! I’m holy, blameless, and acceptable because I belong to Jesus; my life is dedicated to Him in worship and service, and His righteousness is expressed in and through me always. Thank you, blessed Lord, for setting me apart for holiness, success, victory, prosperity, and divine health. I boldly affirm that Jesus is Lord of my life; He’s the Lord over my finances, family, career and all that concerns me. He’s my all and my life is for His glory now and forever. Amen.

Colossians 1:9-12 says, ’For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light’.
At our times of prayer today, we’ll pray mostly in tongues of the Spirit, and also in accordance with the above verses of Scripture for saints of God around the world. Pray specially for leaders and members of your local Church. God bless you.
#Affirmationtrain 19TH JUNE.
I affirm that the Name of Jesus is named upon me. I live daily in His Name; for God has highly exalted Him, and given Him a Name that is above every name, that at the Name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. I live in, and by, the Name of Jesus, and I rule and dominate my world by the power of that Name. I have the seal of God on me, designating me a child of divine destiny, living out, and fulfilling His purpose in the earth. I’ve been granted the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.
Now, I am filled with the knowledge of God’s will, in all wisdom, and spiritual understanding, to deal excellently in life. I live over and above the natural courses of life, the corruption, evil, and decadence prevalent in this world of darkness. I am not moved by what I feel, see, or perceive through the senses! I am born again and full of the Holy Ghost, with the very life of Christ in me. I am not ordinary! My mind and affections are set on the Lord and things pertaining to Christ, His Gospel, and eternal Kingdom. I am strengthened, energized, and emboldened to preach the Gospel, and I am doing it fervently, hauling men from darkness into the kingdom of light, and the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Hallelujah!
