Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him (1 John 2:15).
There’s a type of spirit that many Christians are oblivious of, and the Bible talks about it in 1 Corinthians 2:12; it’s “the spirit of the world”: “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” This spirit is responsible for worldliness amongst Christians. That’s the spirit that tries to set trends—the trends of the world.
When Christians aren’t careful, they find themselves moving with those trends of the world; what the world says, how things are done, not realising they’re being swayed by the spirit of the world into worldliness. We can use certain things in the world without following what the Bible calls, “The fashion of this world” that passes away (1 Corinthians 7:31).
The fashion of this world refers to the trend of this world, and it’s under the spirit of the world. Remember that Satan is the god of this world’s system. So, when our theme verse says, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world…” , that’s what it’s talking about. Refuse to be controlled or influenced by the systems of this present world. Jesus said you’re in the world, but not of the world. Hallelujah!
Some people today are drifting; they’re born again, but they’ve been conquered by the world. They don’t have the Gospel-motive. Your motivation in life should and must be Christ Jesus and the purpose for which He died. Don’t let your focus be on the transient things of this failing world, for none of its so-called “trends” can give you true joy.
Paul said in Galatians 6:14, “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” This is the attitude that you must have.
Dear Father, I thank you for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, by whom I navigate my way through life. I refuse to be swayed by the spirit of the world, for I’m not enticed by the fashion or trends of this world. I’m from above, and my mind is set on things above, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Proverbs 1:10 GNB
“When sinners tempt you, my child, don’t give in.”
John 15:19 CEV
“If you belonged to the world, its people would love you. But you don’t belong to the world. I have chosen you to leave the world behind, and this is why its people hate you.”
“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

I live in absolute victory over sickness, disease and poverty, today and always! No weapon of darkness fashioned against me shall prosper because I live in the Name of Jesus! I’ve been delivered from sin, sickness and death, and catapulted into God’s realm of abundant life where I reign victoriously with Christ, every day. The eyes of my understanding are flooded with light, causing me to see the invisible, and energizing me for the impossible. My mind is anointed to see what the ordinary eyes can’t see. I see glory, victory and prosperity. I see beyond the walls and barriers, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
MY DAILY CONFESSIONS Monday 08/6/2020 #SayThisWithMe CHRIST IS MY LIGHT
Christ is my light and my salvation. He is the strength of my life, therefore, I’m bold and courageous at all times! I dwell under His mighty arm of protection! He is my refuge and my fortress, and I triumph gloriously in His Name. I’m His living tabernacle! He talks through me, moves through me, and expresses His love and righteousness through me! My spirit, soul, and body are sanctified for the Master’s use, and His glory is revealed more and more in me today and always. I’m a tree of righteousness; the planting of the Lord. I’m planted in the house of the Lord, and I flourish and produce excellent results.
I am fruitful and productive; I bring forth fruits at all times. I am in Christ; I’ve got divine health working in every fibre of my being, every cell of my blood, and in every bone of my body! Divinity is expressed through me! No evil or negative imagination has a place in my heart! My mind is inundated with the Word, with which I prevail over all the fiery darts of the enemy! My Words are seasoned; for I’ve been chosen, ordained, commissioned and appointed to bring forth lasting results. I experience the power and supernatural grace of God today, as I make manifest the savour of the knowledge of Christ, in every place. Glory to God.
#TalkingSession 8TH JUNE. KINDLY SAY THESE WORDS OUT LOUD.
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunities You’ve placed before me to manifest Your glory and display Your greatness in an ever-increasing measure. I am compelled by Your love, now and always, to go the extra mile, in soul winning, giving, and in stirring faith in the hearts of others. I manifest Your divine nature of love in blessing others today. Hallelujah. As Jesus is, so am I in this world. I am a product of love; I abound in love, and I never fail, for my spirit is renewed every day. I am ever ready to believe the best of others, for the love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit.
I am persistently productive in every area of my life: in my job, in my finances, in my academics, and the Gospel. I walk worthy of You always, pleasing You in all things, producing fruits and works of righteousness. The Word of God is working and producing results in me! I am like a tree by the streams; evergreen, bearing luscious fruits because the Word of God is my life and sustenance. I live in divine health, supernatural abundance, and in continuous victory and prosperity, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
• Keep saying it, publish it everywhere; noise it abroad! In Christ, we’ve got something to shout about. Let’s flood the airwaves, internet and print media with the reality of Christ.

Pray-A-Thon 2020 – Mon June 8
We had a glorious communion service yesterday, ushering us into this special month of prayer, in a year of intense prayer. Hallelujah!
As we shared yesterday, we’ll continue in prayer as follows: –
Praying for 15min at 12noon and 10pm (Local/GMT) every day of this month.
– Praying personally everyday, for an additional 15min of choice, and also when your zone/church/group is scheduled to lead the global prayer chain.
– Praying for 1 full hour with your zone/church (connected online and onsite), when on coordinated schedule. You’ll get more details from your Church Pastor.
– Organising prayer sessions with 10-20 new people to join the global prayer chain, as we increase the prayer force around the world.
It’s going to be an awesome month of transformations by the Spirit, for nations, governments, families, homes, and individuals; and a wonderful blessing to you. 1 Timothy 2:3-4 says, ’…For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth’.
At our prayer times today, we’ll intercede fervently in tongues of the Spirit, for the salvation of souls around the world. Break the blinding effect of satan over their eyes, and pray that their hearts be open to the gospel, in the Name of our blessed Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
God bless you. Watch the Pray-A-Thon highlights for the month of May.
